Just because we have a right to say something, doesn't mean it's right to say

This video is very interesting and takes into account a troller's POV.  In my opinion, I don't think that a person should say something else negative back. I am not a firm believe in "fighting fire with fire," but some people are. It just seems like you are making the problem worse than it already is. I think just ignoring a troller's comments is better, or maybe just reply with something sarcastic (the route I would take). Ultimately, I think you should just try and not let what they say bother you, but people react differently.
The last bit of the video is something to think about, but what are your guy's thoughts on it? Do you agree or disagree with his idea that we as a society need to become more immune to trolling? I really do agree with him, and people need to grow up! But of course, maybe not with the comments of trolling. I think what he is saying is somewhat true, but there shouldn't be a need to have to get used to people's mean comments! People should just keep their opinions to themselves, but then again, we all have the right to freedom of speech, right?

  1. I agree with your opinion as well as Weev's. While this is a good video, Insight SBS has disabled comments for this video as well as the longer version at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoniS-S6KCc which seems pretty ironic for a video that's obviously trying to spark discussion and conversation. By disabling the comments, they are merely hindered the opportunity for discussion and a logical argument.

  2. I stand by the idea of learning to deal with trolls. However, I do agree with you that there is a fine line between stating or arguing your opinion vs. obnoxiously trolling someone. Like you said in the title, just because you have the right to say something doesn't mean it's right to say!
