College Questions

1)  What are some requirements to join the military force?

  • Take the ASVAB, be in good health, and be a least 17.

2)  What are the best colleges to apply to if you're majoring in nursing? (Either in California or an out-of-state college)

  • A good college in California for nursing is UCLA and for an out of state college, Duke University in Durham, North Carolina is a good choice.

    2.) Keep in mind that biology majors are typically very competitive majors. Nursing, especially, is incredibly competitive even in schools not specialized in biology. What I mean to say is, if you want to go into a school specialized for nurses, make sure you're committed to it; it'll be a long and bumpy ride.

    I heard Cal State Long Beach is also a good college for nursing. :)
